Offer Accepted!

So we got word Thursday that the offer on the house, was accepted! I'm ecstatic! I just hope the rest of this whole house buying stuff goes as smooth as this offer has! I can't wait to get in the house, and make it a home!

I've started looking at paint colors, for Alexis' room. Yes its gonna be either pink, purple, or a light green. Not sure yet, but i'm excited for her room to be hers and not the military's. I can't wait to start decorating, I know i'm probably getting ahead of myself, but its exciting!

Josh will be up here in 2.5 days! I'm super excited to see my husband, and my pets. I've missed them so much. I'm hoping the animals are good for Josh and that he has a safe trip. Its a long drive to be doing by yourself, let alone with all the pets.

This weekend has been hectic, I've been spending time with my nieces. They've been helpful, but there sisters, so i've had to deal with the whole sharing issue and fighting. I love them to pieces tho.

Today was scary. Alexis got a temp of 103.2... Not sure if my thermometer is broken or what! But this is the second time in a month that she has a high fever. So i took her to urgent care (once again) and they said it's most likely teething. It's just scaring when your baby isn't feeling well and there is nothing you can do about it.

Well once we got to the urgent care, it was 10 minutes before they were supposed to close... They didn't look to thrilled when I walked in smiling! They took her temp, and it was down to 99.3! Not sure if her fever actually broke or one of the thermometers are broken.

I got home and took her temp again, and it said it was back up to 102.2, so I think it might be time for me to invest in another thermometer. Its been a long a busy past couple of days. But on one good note, I manged to blog twice in one week! GO ME!

I need to blog more!

I need to update more often. I want to get into blogging more often. A lot has happened since the last time I updated. I feel like this is how I always start off my blogs. Alexis is getting so big too fast. I cant believe she's already a year old. Time goes by way to fast.

Since the last time I updated, a lot has happened. Some good, some bad. I've gained some good friends and lost some bad friends. Alexis is already 15 months old. Where does the time go? What happened to my sweet baby?! She is now walking, and getting into everything possible!

I came to New Hampshire to visit on June 24th, 3 days before I left, Josh and I received orders. The orders were to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, in Portsmouth New Hampshire. As ecstatic as I was to get orders, I was bummed that I just spent 450 dollars on a plane ticket. Josh and I didn't want to lose that ticket so I came to New Hampshire anyways!

I've been up here for a little over a month, and its been more stressful then relaxing. This whole "single" mom thing is tough, I'm, so thankful that its only temporarily for me. Alexis is a handful now, she has learned how to bite and pinch. I'm so confused on how to discipline her. I don't want to spank her hand, because that's not gonna teach her anything but that its okay to "hit". But whenever I pick her up and say "No, that's not nice" She laughs at me and tries to grab my glasses, so i'm stuck with how to discipline her.

All the friends that were so excited to see me, have yet to see me. It kinda pushes my buttons a little. It's sad, when a girl I went to school with that I barley knew, is the one that I've seen the most. She has a little girl 4 days younger than Alexis. Its nice to get out of the house and have a friend for Alexis, and myself.

Josh and I were planning on living in Base Housing up here, but they have a month long waiting list, and the base housing isn't great up here. So instead of renting and apartment, we're looking to buy, since we want to live up here after the Navy. This house hunting stuff is stressful, but I've seen one house and I love it. I know everyone says not to settle for the 1st one, but it has everything we want, and it's in our price range.

I've been saying in between houses for the past months. I've stayed at my Dad's and my Step-dad's. It sucks not having my own place, i'm so use to doing my own thing. So i'm excited to get out, and have all of my stuff. Right now Alexis and myself are sharing a room... Its hard since I don't go to bed till after Alexis. I have to sneak in, and make sure my phone is on silent so if someone calls, or texts it doesn't wake Alexis up. I'll be thankful when we get our own place, to be able to get Alexis on a better schedule.

Josh will be up here on the 3rd or 4th of August. I can't wait for him to get up here. Its been a long month alone. It will be nice to get my husband back, and also have another set of hands to keep Alexis from getting into trouble.
